ACS FUNdraising App Reviews

This app has potential. Relay for Life is so important but not being able to scan checks or choose a fundraising or thank you message to post on fb is a major setback! Please fix to move my fundraising along!!!!

Two things I love most about the app: 1) You can scan checks just like a mobile deposit on a banking app 2) You can accept card donations! My team used it at our on-site fundraiser the day of our event.

A lot of the time it still tells me there is an error when I try to scan checks in. It only works every 10 tries.

This app is a joke! It wont work at all! I tried deleting it, and redownloading, still wont work. I have Funraising on my phone and it is okay.

It would be nice if they could promptly fix the bugs. There has been issues with accepting checks via this app since the beginning and they still have not been addressed. Camera function cannot be enabled because the option isnt there to do so. If this were to work it would be a nice app to have.

I like having my dashboard with me all the time. The link to Facebook made it easy to post to my wall and accept donations that way. However, the camera to scan checks does not work. As others have stated, it tells you to go to Settings>FUNdraising>Camera and allow access. There is no camera listed there, just cellular access. If I go to Camera settings it lists apps that have requested access to the camera and FUNdraising is not listed there. This was one of the main reasons I downloaded the app. Fix this and Ill update my review.

Totally agree about the camera issues trying to accept a donation via check! One of the MAIN reasons I downloaded this app!! Please fix and do it quickly!!

One of the best things they could have done is make this app. Unfortunately, it does not work. That camera option for checks does not work. It tells you to go into your settings to allow access. You go there, there is nothing to allow access to. Disappointing because I have a lot of checks to deposit from a fundraiser.

I think its great that there is an app to help you send out request for donations and keep track… But as many others have stated being able to scan a check immediately is a big deal. This is such a huge charity and an important one and these types of bugs should be fixed immediately.

Hopefully they fix the camera not working it says you need to allow access but you can allow access because its not in the choices

I am so excited to use this. This is the absolute best way to raise money on site.

This is a great app that makes it SO much easier to fundraise for such a great cause!!!

It keeps telling me that I dont have enough internet connection.

This app worked one time just fine - I took a check through it. However, after getting a replacement iPhone 6, which was totally backed up, the app has big issues. Not working. One error message was that the app could not connect to the ACS server. Second is that it just sits on the logo page and is stuck. I have deleted and reloaded the app. I have rebooted my phone. My wifi is working just fine - gets internet, emails and other apps are functioning. Please investigate and improve what could be a great fundraising tool!

This was a great app. Now, after 2 updates on my iPhone it keeps giving me a message that I dont have a proper internet connection. My guess is theres something not jiving with the new updates, as others seem to be having this problem. I hope this is something that can be fixed soon!

This app worked perfect at first and I took 200 in pmts - now I get the error message about connection to ACS server.

I ran into the same issue with my app telling me the ACS server was unable to connect. I have been in touch with the ACS tech support since 09/25/15 and they are working on a fix. This happend due to the new iOS updates (9 and higher) that were recently released.

I really would like this app to work. I have a walk coming up that I think this would be useful for. It either says I have no internet connection, or just sits in the log in screen. Im really disappointed.

Its helpful to have one app to ask for donations and scan checks and credit cards now for Relay For Life. Already using this to raise money for our event coming up later this spring.
